A Picnic Party English Paragraph, My friends and I chalked out a programme to spend the coming Sunday on the bank of the Indus river. The idea to enjoy the ripe mangoes on the cool shady bank of the river fascinated us. We finalized the programme instantly. The anxiously awaited Sunday brought feverish activity with it. All the preparations were made within no time. We all started off on our bikes under the sky overcast. Dark brown clouds were drifting across the sky. The pleasant breeze was fanning our faces. It was a pleasant ride. In half an hour we reached our destination. We placed our things under a cool shady tree, put on the life jackets and jumped into the river. Oh! it was pure joy to swim in the cool water. The light drizzle from the silvery clouds, the cool breeze and the grace of the blooming flowers near the bank had a magical effect on us. We spent a long time in the river. Then we left water and ate mangoes our fill. We lay down under the cool shady trees for a while. Then again we rushed towards water to have another dip. We started the competition of diving, swimming and rowing. At last, we got tired and felt hungry. We came out of the water and began to eat the delicious meal with relish.
After that we played cards and chess. Some of us were so exhausted that they slept on the rough rugs. In the evening, eventually it began to rain heavily. The thick sheet of heavy rain obscured the whole view. We rode home in the pouring rain of summer. This was really a wonderful day to be cherished in our memory and recounted with pride.
